To provides
structural integrity for the Railing system a newel post is required on
the corners and in between the up to 12 Foot spans. Consider
usings a half newel post up against a wall to end your course of
balusters. To be architecturally correct apply a half baluster up
against the half newel post. Imperial offers standard newel posts
and custom sizes in ArchPolymerTM which is rot water and insect
resistant. They are embedded with a PVC support pipe to make the
structurally sound.
